How we pick the companies on this site

Every fact on this site comes from the company's own website, job postings or filings, with the date we checked it. Here is how a company gets listed.

Where the facts come from

Each company's description, programs and partnerships come from its own website, newsroom, job postings or public filings, and the page links to that source. If a fact is only in a news report, we say "reported". If we can't find a source, the fact isn't on the site.

Most engineering firms don't publish prices. When a company posts a rate or a price, we link to it. When it doesn't, the listing says "quote" instead of guessing.

How a company gets on a list

  1. It puts engineers inside a customer's business. That can be a forward deployed engineering team, an embedded team, or engineers who deploy the company's own platform on site. Firms that only sell software don't qualify.
  2. We can describe how you buy it. Project, embedded team, platform with engineers, or a talent network. Each listing says which.
  3. We say who it's for. Every listing names the kind of company it fits, in plain words.

Sponsored listings are labeled Sponsored and shown first.

What we don't do

  • We don't invent ratings, review counts or scores.
  • We don't describe services we can't point to on the company's own site.
  • We don't change a page's date unless the page actually changed.

Salaries and job postings

Pay ranges come from official job postings. Several US states require a posted range, so these are the companies' own numbers. Postings close and change often, so each range carries the date we saw it.
